Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Project Manager to lead smaller projects or parts of larger initiatives. You will ensure schedules are met, manage budgets and reports, and coordinate with internal teams and clients. The role includes mentoring engineers and driving project performance.

The ideal candidate has five+ years in project management, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with CAD/ERP and MS Office. This on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Solid financial acumen and reporting ability.
• Proficient with CAD, ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develops client relationships and provides project status updates.
• Manages budgets, cost projections, revenue projections, and change orders.
• Participates in project meetings with internal departments.
• Partners with stakeholders to keep scope on schedule.
• Generates budget analyses and related reports.
• Mentors Project Engineers and provides coaching.
