Job summary

EMCOR Group's Poole and Kent Corporation is seeking a Project Intern, Mechanical to support the Project Team in Shippingport, PA. You will help coordinate project information and assist with document control, filing, and communication across teams.

You will gain exposure to field operations, scheduling, and QA/QC processes while assisting with the preparation of submittals, estimates, and closeout activities. This internship offers hands-on learning in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Mech Eng or Construction Mgmt degree (in progress or completed) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD; project management/doc control software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in driving project's flow from inception to completion.
• Review contracts and bid documents; participate in walk-throughs.
• Assist with project document control: insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders, correspondence.
