Job summary

EMCOR Construction Services is seeking a Project Intern to assist the Project Team with coordinating information on commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. The role focuses on supporting the Project Manager and ensuring accurate document control and timely delivery of information.

The candidate should be pursuing a related degree and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project-management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, completed or in progress.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in driving project flow from inception to completion.
• Help with project document control (insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders).
• Ensure documents are saved in the project’s document control software.
• Verify drawings are distributed to field teams.
• Support project scheduling, delivery tracking, and manpower planning.
• Coordinate with field personnel to complete QA/QC documentation.
