Job summary

The Poole and Kent Corporation is seeking a Project Intern, Mechanical to assist the Project Team in coordinating project information for a variety of mechanical and electrical construction projects in the Shippingport area. The role reports to the Project Manager and is an hourly, non-exempt position.

The intern will help with document control, review of contract and bid documents, and tracking deliveries while supporting the overall project schedule and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
• Pursuing or holding a Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Team with coordinating project information and documentation.
• Support project document control, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Review contract documents and assist with project turnover and scheduling.
• Support field personnel and help ensure on-time delivery of equipment and materials.
