Job summary

Engtal, an established mechanical consulting firm, seeks a hands-on Mechanical Engineer in Colorado to lead HVAC and plumbing design from concept to construction administration. This role offers real project ownership, mentorship, and a clear path toward project management.

You will perform load calculations, equipment selection, system layouts, and energy modeling, produce coordinated construction documents in Revit, and coordinate with architects, vendors, contractors, and owners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical building-systems experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
• Strong HVAC design with plumbing knowledge.
• Proficiency with Revit and HVAC/load-calculation software.
• EIT preferred with interest in pursuing PE licensure.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC and plumbing designs from concept through construction administration.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, system layouts, and energy modeling.
• Produce coordinated construction documents and specifications in Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, vendors, contractors, and owners.
• Support construction administration.
• Take increasing ownership of project delivery and client communication.
