We are seeking a Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our growing technical team. This role supports customers across North America through onsite servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical servicing of industrial mixers and related equipment at customer locations.
- Perform gearbox inspections, motor removal, gear tolerance checks, adjustments, oil changes, and part replacements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic system issues.
- Assist customers with installation of new equipment and system upgrades.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Complete detailed service reports, documentation, and expense records.
- Provide training and guidance to customers during and after service visits.
- Support warehouse operations, including parts handling, crating, and shipment preparation.
- Communicate on‑site issues to internal teams and collaborate on solutions.
- Promote service and parts offerings as appropriate.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Strong mechanical aptitude and industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience with hydraulic systems and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to service gearboxes and conduct precision mechanical inspections.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable working at heights up to 80 feet.
- Strong communication skills and professional customer service presence.
- Ability to work independently for extended periods.
- Fluent in English with a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. passport.
