Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Mechanical Engineering New Graduate in Rogers, Arkansas to work with a team of experienced engineers on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design. You will assist in analysis, design, and project execution with mentorship and hands-on training from day one.

The role supports cross‑functional teams, emphasizes energy‑efficient building systems, and offers growth opportunities including EIT certification and exposure to MEP2050 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) or interest in certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Interact with clients to understand needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Work as part of a project team to support the execution of consulting projects.
• Assist in project planning and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Assist with documenting design decisions and instructions from clients while monitoring project design progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical and efficient solutions.
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure designs meet standards.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and contribute to R&D efforts.
