IMEG in Columbia, SC invites applications for a Mechanical Engineering New Grad in 2027. This entry-level role provides hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship and training from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• Strong technical and analytical skills in thermo, heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
• Familiarity with industry-standard engineering software and BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for building projects.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per codes and IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information effectively.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and monitoring design progress.
