SharkNinja is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op in Needham, MA. You will work with a world-class team to bring home innovations from concept through testing and launch, with an emphasis on hands-on development, prototyping, and rapid problem solving.

You will gain experience across CAD modeling, lab testing, and cross-functional collaboration, contributing to next-gen product concepts in a fast-paced, startup-like environment backed by a global brand.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent graduate in mechanical or related field.
• Must be able to work full-time 40 hours/week onsite in Needham, MA.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals: thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to concepting and development of next-gen products via sketches and prototypes.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers on innovative solutions.
• Build, test, and iterate prototypes and lab rigs; validate performance and usability.
• Analyze testing data and consumer feedback to inform design decisions.
• Participate in design reviews to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Take ownership of engineering tasks with increasing complexity.
• Support CAD modeling and technical documentation alongside engineers.
• Learn user journeys and drive innovations from concept to early launch.
• Work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment backed by a global brand.
