Job summary

SharkNinja is seeking a Product Design Engineering Co-op in Needham, MA. You will work with the Ninja team at the earliest stages of product innovation, bridging Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering to sketch, build, test, and iterate consumer-centered solutions.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate insights into viable product concepts, and contribute to hands-on prototyping using CAD tools and rapid fabrication techniques.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a related program.
• Ability to work full-time, onsite in Needham, MA (5 days/week).
• Effective communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of mechanics, physics applied to product design.
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
• Hands-on prototyping and rapid iteration mindset.
• Experience with CAD and basic prototyping tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate user-centered product concepts focusing on ergonomics and function.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solutions.
• Lead and participate in design studies to address technical challenges.
• Build and test quick prototypes and derive findings from user testing.
