This 40-hour/week on-site role offers hands-on design, CAD modeling, and data-driven validation, with exposure to plastics/metal parts, sensors, motors, and mass-production considerations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a related bachelor's/master's/PhD or recent graduate.
• Willingness to work full-time, 40 hours per week onsite in Needham, MA.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals (thermodynamics, fluids, design).
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to concepting and development of next-gen Shark products.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to explore solutions.
• Build, test, and iterate prototypes and lab rigs; validate performance and usability.
• Analyze testing data and consumer feedback to inform design decisions.
