Job summary

Dematic's Lifecycle Support Services Modernizations and Upgrades (LSSMU) team in Henrietta, NY is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and lead material handling system projects for a strategic client. You will manage mechanical scope, perform site audits, and support fabrication drawings and commissioning.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 0–5 years of related experience, and proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX).

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 0-5 years of industry-related experience preferred.
• Proficient in CAD design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX) or similar.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete mechanical engineering scope for material handling systems.
• Perform site audits to collect project and solution information.
• Design semi-complex systems integrating mechanical hardware, controls, and software.
• Support engineering sketches, manufacturing equipment, and layout drawings.
• Follow purchase and order-entry processes to procure equipment and release assemblies.
