Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Lifecycle Solutions and Services - Modernizations and Upgrades (LSSMU) team. You will own and execute mechanical engineering scopes for modernization projects, working closely with customers to deliver on time and within budget.

With 5+ years in mechanical engineering, you will design complex systems, prepare specifications, and drive productivity improvements while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
• Configura CET and AutoCAD proficiency.
• Strong background in material handling/automation.
• Project-based experience from design to installation.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute mechanical engineering scope for modernization projects.
• Ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost targets; proactively address issues.
• Maintain project logs and track portfolio performance.
• Report on on-time delivery, budget, quality, and risks.
• Forecast across assigned projects.
• Design complex systems integrating hardware and software.
• Specify material requirements and prepare schematics.
• Recommend productivity improvements and cost reductions.
• Transfer knowledge to processes and product applications.
• Understand project schedule and budget for mechanical functions.
• Travel up to 20% to customer locations.
