Dematic’s Lifecycle Support Services Modernizations and Upgrades (LSSMU) team seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 0–5 years of experience to contribute to and lead material handling system design for various projects. You will perform site audits, design semi-complex systems, and support on-site installation while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/SolidWorks/NX), MS Office, and excellent communication are required.

Competenze

BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
0–5 years of industry-related experience or mechanical engineering experience preferred.
Proficient in CAD design software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, or similar.
Experience with MS programs: Word, Excel, TEAMS.

Mansioni

Manage and complete mechanical engineering scope for material handling systems.
Perform site audits to collect project and solution information.
Complete the design of semi-complex systems that integrate mechanical hardware, controls components, and software.
Provide support for specification and preparation of engineering sketches, manufacture equipment, and layout drawings, with appropriate follow-up.
Follow Purchase Request and Order Entry processes to purchase equipment and release assemblies for manufacturing.
Support on-site installation and engineering commissioning efforts as the need arises.
Work with team members and customers to tackle problems and troubleshoot equipment on-site.
Regularly report on project performance including timely delivery, budget, quality, risks.
Participate in recommending ideas related to efficiency improvement, cost reduction, and improvement in customer happiness
