Dematic's Lifecycle Solutions and Services - Modernizations and Upgrades (LSSMU) team seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in material handling system design and applications on varying scale projects. You will be part of a project execution team serving a strategic client, taking initiative and performing under pressure in front of customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in material handling system design and application.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute mechanical engineering scope for modernization/retrofit projects.
• Ensure targets for quality, on-time delivery, and cost.
• Maintain up-to-date project logs.
• Report portfolio performance including delivery, budget, quality, risks.
• Own monthly forecast across assigned projects.
• Design complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
• Prepare complex material specifications and schematics.
• Propose productivity improvements and cost reductions.
• Transfer knowledge on processes and product applications.
• Identify and resolve complex problems with engineering judgment.
• Understand project schedule and budget for Mechanical Eng functions.
