Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the LSSMU team, contributing to and leading material handling system design for modernization/retrofit projects. The role requires 5+ years of experience and strong customer-facing skills.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality solutions across multiple projects throughout the year. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and be familiar with CET Configura and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience in material handling/automation.
• Project-based design to installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute mechanical engineering scope for assigned modernization/retrofit projects.
• Ensure targets for quality, on-time delivery and cost; anticipate issues.
• Maintain project log and report portfolio performance.
• Design complex systems integrating hardware and software.
• Identify opportunities for productivity improvements and cost reductions.
