Linde Inc. seeks an entry level Mechanical Engineer for its Leadership Technical Orientation Program (LTOP) in Baltimore, MD. The role starts with a 52-week structured curriculum giving exposure to plant operations across multiple product lines such as air separation, hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, helium, and standard plants.

It includes hands-on start-ups, maintenance, and project planning. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (GPA 3.0+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Zero to three years of internship/co-op work experience.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Willing to travel up to 25% and relocate if required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 52-week curriculum exposing you to plant operations across multiple product lines.
• Engage in hands-on start-ups, shutdowns, maintenance, planning and troubleshooting.
• Monitor energy use and optimize operating modes to improve plant performance.
• Support QA programs, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional project work.
