Linde Inc. in Mims, FL seeks an entry-level Chemical/Mechanical Engineer for the Leadership Technical Orientation Program (LTOP).

The 2027 cohort starts around July 1, 2027 and will rotate through multiple plant operations and product lines, including air separation, hydrogen, and more. Participants perform hands-on operational activities, startups and maintenance while developing leadership skills through mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Zero to three years of internship or co-op experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 52-week curriculum exposing plant operations across multiple product lines.
• Engage in hands-on operational activities such as startups, shutdowns, maintenance, planning, training and safety program execution.
• Operate process equipment via control systems and in the field (motors, compressors, pumps, instrumentation, utilities).
• Monitor efficiency and energy consumption; optimize operating modes and plant performance.
• Support QA programs, regulatory compliance, distribution and operations.
• Collaborate with process/ project/ controls/ maintenance/ safety/ operations teams with mentored leadership development.
