Linde plc in Mims, FL invites applications for the 2027 Entry Level Chemical Engineer – Leadership Technical Orientation Program (LTOP). The role begins around July 1, 2027 and offers hands-on plant operations exposure across air separation, hydrogen, and other product lines with mentored leadership development.

You will rotate through start-ups, shutdowns, maintenance, training, and project planning while collaborating with multiple engineering and operations teams to improve plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with GPA ≥3.0 preferred.
• 0–3 years of internship or cooperative education demonstrating technical capability.
• Strong communication and cross-functional relationship building.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; apply analytical skills to technical and operational challenges.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and relocate for program assignments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a fifty-two‑week structured curriculum exposing you to plant operations across multiple product lines.
• Engage in hands‑on operational activities such as start‑ups, shutdowns, maintenance, project planning, training, and safety program execution.
• Operate process equipment via control systems and in the field (motors, compressors, pumps, instrumentation, utilities).
• Monitor efficiency and energy use; optimize operating modes and plant performance.
• Support quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and coordination with distribution and operations.
• Collaborate with process engineering, project engineering, controls, maintenance, reliability, safety, and operations teams; develop leadership skills.
