Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in New York is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineering Graduate to join our engineering teams. You will support CAD/BIM drafting, learn company standards, and collaborate with senior engineers on diverse projects.

This role offers an Engineering Development Program (EDT) with mentorship and hands-on training in design, coordination, and client-focused solutions. A bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and E.I.T./FE preferred are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with graduation Winter 2026, Spring or Summer 2027.
• E.I.T. or FE preferred.
• Knowledge of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of a senior engineer/designer.
• Perform CAD/BIM-drafting for various projects.
• Coordinate with other trades under guidance of senior staff.
• Support design and engineering for new installations, retrofits, replacements, upgrades.
• Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work.
• Assist with field investigations and site visits for coordination meetings.
• Attend EDT program training sessions and related activities.
