Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Dallas, TX is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineering Graduate to join the EDT program and support engineering teams on diverse projects. You will learn from senior engineers and contribute to designs, drawings, and documentation using CAD/REVIT.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration, and professional development with a structured training path and opportunities across MEP and architectural disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with graduation date Winter 2026, Spring or Summer 2027
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus
• Previous engineering internship, a plus
• Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite
• E.I.T. or FE strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer.
• Learn drawing organization and company standards.
• Perform CAD/REVIT drafting for a variety of projects and project sizes.
• Coordinate with the designs of other trades under the guidance of senior staff.
• Support the design and engineering efforts for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades.
• Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of assignments.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and site visits.
• Participate in the EDT program training and related activities.
• Attend continuing education seminars on technical topics.
