Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Chicago is offering an entry level Mechanical Engineering Graduate role through its Engineer Development Program (EDT). You will learn from senior engineers, perform CAD/REVIT drafting, and contribute to a range of project sizes while supporting field activities and coordination with multiple trades.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing education, and professional development within a global engineering practice. A Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027 graduation is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering; graduation Winter 2026, Spring or Summer 2027
• E.I.T. or FE preferred
• Knowledge of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus; MS Office Suite proficiency

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer.
• Learn drawing organization and company standards.
• Perform CAD/REVIT drafting for varied projects to commence architectural engineering design.
• Coordinate with other trades under senior staff guidance.
• Support design and engineering for new installations, retrofits, upgrades.
• Own completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work.
