Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer for Fort Hood, TX, to provide engineering and commissioning support on federal construction projects.

You will review design and construction documents, evaluate mechanical systems, support commissioning, and ensure contract compliance through all project phases. The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, minimum 3 years of commissioning experience, and US citizenship with background clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and code interpretation.
• Review contractor schedules for conformance with methodology and contract.
• Review plans, specs, submittals, and shop drawings for field conditions and contract compliance.
• Evaluate major design, construction, renovation, and alteration projects.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and change orders for proper documentation.
• Inspect mechanical systems and equipment on projects.
• Monitor commissioning activities for building systems.
