Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Fort Hood, TX to provide engineering and commissioning support on federal construction projects. You will review mechanical systems, participate in design reviews, and help ensure quality across all phases of construction.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years of commissioning experience, and familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and controls. PE license and USACE experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field required/preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of building commissioning experience.
• PE license preferred; USACE or federal project experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and code interpretation.
• Review schedules for conformance with methodology and contract.
• Inspect mechanical systems and equipment on projects; document findings.
