Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering and commissioning support for federal construction projects at Fort Hood, Texas.

The role involves reviewing design, evaluating mechanical systems, supporting commissioning, and ensuring contract compliance throughout all construction phases. The candidate should hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years of commissioning experience, and may have a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college.
• Minimum of three years of building commissioning experience.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and controls in building projects.
• PE license preferred.
• Army Corps of Engineers or federal project background is a plus.
• Strong writing and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and code interpretation.
• Review contractor schedules for compliance and method.
• Inspect mechanical systems and support commissioning activities.
• Prepare project documents and correspondence.
• Attend meetings and advise on design compliance.
• Support LEED requirements in project designs.
• Assist in warranties and project closeout.
