Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering and commissioning support for federal construction projects at Fort Hood, Texas. The selected candidate will review design and construction aspects, evaluate mechanical systems, and ensure contract and code compliance throughout all construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of building commissioning experience.
• PE license preferred; federal project experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for technical accuracy and code interpretation.
• Review contractor schedules for conformance with methodology and contract.
• Inspect mechanical systems and equipment on projects and support commissioning activities.
• Prepare reports and contract criteria for project completion.
• Attend meetings and advise on RFP requirements and design compliance.
• Support LEED requirements in project designs.
