Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Atlanta invites entry-level engineers to join its Engineering Development Training (EDT) program. You will contribute to CAD/BIM drafting, assist senior engineers, and gain hands-on design experience across diverse projects.

This role emphasizes teamwork, learning, and professional growth within a global consulting and engineering firm that values mentoring, innovation, and flexible work arrangements including occasional remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Electrical engineering, or Architectural Engineering with a graduation date of Winter 2026, Spring or Summer of 2027
• Previous engineering internship, a plus
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP Auto CAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
• Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite
• E.I.T. or FE required.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer
• Learn drawing organization and company standards
• Perform CAD/BIM drafting for a variety of projects and project sizes to begin to understand architectural engineering design and documentation
• Coordination with the designs of other trades under the guidance of more senior
• Support the design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, retrofits, replacements and upgrades
• Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the work assignments
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe and attend project coordination meetings
• Participate in the EDT program training sessions and support activities
