Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design or related engineering roles.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and analyze electric motors, gearboxes, gearmotors and related mechanical systems.
• Determine product specifications and perform engineering calculations to meet customer requirements and standards.
• Develop 3D models, technical drawings, and documentation to support development and manufacturing.
• Plan, coordinate and execute prototype testing, validation activities, and evaluations.
• Lead and support new product development, optimization, cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, customers and global teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Specify and evaluate components and materials to ensure performance and manufacturability.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for design and field issues.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and drive continuous improvement throughout lifecycle.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing, customers, suppliers and field applications, including travel.
