Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical design or related engineering experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, 3D modeling, drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and analyze motors, gearboxes, gearmotors and related mechanical systems to meet standards.
• Determine product specifications and perform engineering calculations per customer requirements and industry standards.
• Develop 3D models, technical drawings and engineering documentation for development and manufacturing.
• Plan, coordinate and execute prototype testing, validation activities and field investigations.
• Lead and support new product development, optimization, cost reduction and quality improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales and global teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Specify, evaluate and improve components, materials and mechanical systems for performance and manufacturability.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions related to design and manufacturing issues.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and support continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing, customers, suppliers and field applications, including travel.
