Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required or preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years related experience required.
• EIT/FE in the United States preferred.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in engineering design software (Revit, Trane Trace or Trane 3D Plus).
• Ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems including ductwork, piping and equipment selection for buildings, under supervision.
• Calculate heating and cooling loads and perform energy modeling.
• Prepare Revit/BIM construction drawings from schematic design to construction administration.
• Edit specifications and review shop drawings for compliance.
• Interface with clients and project team in meetings and budgeting.
• Research and respond to RFIs and review change orders.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and observe construction progress.
• May direct activities of junior staff and perform other duties.
