Job summary
RTX (Raytheon) in Rockford, IL is seeking an engineer to design and develop test equipment for Mechanical Power Conversion systems. You will lead equipment activities from build through commissioning, review results, and propose modifications to meet specifications.

Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing mechanical rotating equipment preferred.
- Experience with hydraulic and fluid circuits preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and NX 3D CAD; SolidWorks experience helpful.
Responsibilities
- Design test equipment and systems for MPC power conversion products.
- Lead test equipment activities from build to commissioning.
- Review test results and recommend equipment modifications.
- Define performance, maintenance, and calibration requirements for test stands.
- Collaborate with Product, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
- Prepare equipment proposals with schedule and budget.
