RTX (Raytheon) in Rockford, IL, seeks an Electrical/Test Engineer to design and develop aerospace test equipment. You will craft LabVIEW software for Windows, FPGA, and real-time environments, specify NI cRIO/cDAQ/PXI hardware, and create electrical control panels with AutoCAD Electrical for production, R&D, and qualification testing.

You will lead verification/validation activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, estimate budgets, and help support delivered equipment within the MPC

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing control panels and documenting schematics.
• Demonstrated experience with NI LabVIEW development and NI hardware platforms.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and update LabVIEW software for manual and automated test equipment in Windows, FPGA, and RTOS environments.
• Design electrical control panels, power distribution systems, and circuits for aerospace test equipment.
• Create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical; maintain engineering documentation.
• Lead cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, and quality to ensure test equipment meets specs and budgets.
• Estimate proposals, schedules, and budgets for test equipment projects; participate in reviews and validations.
