Job summary

RTX's Test Solutions Engineering team builds high‑reliability test equipment for national defense programs. You will design and prototype mechanical test fixtures and environmental stations used across product lifecycles from development to production and field sustainment.

The role requires a STEM degree and CAD proficiency, with expertise in SolidWorks, Creo, or Inventor, plus the ability to produce precise drawings and documentation in accordance with ASME Y14/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience using CAD software to generate 3D models and assemblies.
• Experience creating or maintaining mechanical hardware documentation and drawings to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, prototype, and implement advanced mechanical test fixtures and environmental test stations.
• Research, plan, and design custom mechanical test solutions for vibration, thermal, RF and other environments.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings; ensure compliance with ASME Y14 or ISO standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to diagnose issues and implement design improvements.
