Job summary

The Poole and Kent Corporation, a leading mechanical contractor, seeks an Assistant Project Manager for our Shippingport, PA project team. You will support the Project Manager and field crews, manage documentation, and help drive projects on time and within budget.

You will review contracts, coordinate safety initiatives, and assist with scheduling, costs, and subcontractor coordination to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

• You must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the mechanical, plumbing, and/or industrial HVAC discipline.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction contract language.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in driving project flow from inception to completion.
• Foster a safe work environment with the team and field staff.
• Review contracts, bids, and scope for turnover and pricing.
• Maintain project documents and submittals in the document control system.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on scheduling and deliveries.
