Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Mechanical Buildings Engineer – HVAC/Plumbing to support water and industrial water projects across the United States and Canada. The role involves delivering code-compliant, coordinated building mechanical systems for treatment facilities, pump stations, and administration buildings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program (home country or practicing country).
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
• Pre-employment checks including background, drug screen, and motor vehicle records may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC and plumbing design for industrial water and wastewater facilities.
• Develop and review HVAC design criteria, loads, ventilation, exhaust, pressurization, heating, cooling, and equipment sizing.
• Develop and review plumbing design criteria, domestic water, sanitary drainage, storm drainage coordination, and emergency fixtures.
