Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Mechanical Buildings Engineer—HVAC/Plumbing to support water and industrial water facilities across the US and Canada. You will work on constructible, code-compliant mechanical systems for treatment plants, pump stations, and related buildings.

Role requires 1+ year experience and a bachelor’s in engineering; licensure pursuit is encouraged. Hybrid work options may apply after 90 days, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality in every project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
• Pursuit of engineering registration/licensure to support EOR requirements.

Responsabilités

• Support HVAC and plumbing design activities for water facilities.
• Develop and review design criteria, load calculations, ventilation, and equipment sizing.
• Develop and review domestic water, sanitary drainage, and coordination with site systems.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, schedules, and design reports.
• Coordinate deliverables with process, civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and I&C teams.
• Review deliverables for quality, code compliance, constructability, and maintainability.
• Support vendor reviews, RFIs, construction support, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Promote quality and participate in continuous improvement and risk management.
