Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager in Colorado Springs to lead one of our busiest departments while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will support the Meat & Seafood Manager in operations, people, and product quality to maintain freshness and efficiency. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and a commitment to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in grocery retail, with Meat department experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising and sales through planning, direction and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and sanitation guidelines.
• Unload deliveries and operate meat & seafood equipment.
