Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with basic math, weights and measures knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience with proven leadership, 2–3 years grocery retail experience in Meat dept processes preferred.
• Must be dependable with friendly behavior and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team to deliver high quality products and exceptional customer service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure adherence to receiving, stocking, and unloading procedures for freshness and quality.
