Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to support the Meat & Seafood department, lead a busy team, and uphold premium service standards. You’ll assist in merchandising, scheduling, and ensuring product quality across the department.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with basic math, weights and measures knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years professional leadership experience and 2–3 years grocery retail Meat dept. experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 25–90 lbs., with occasional loading of pallets.

Responsibilities

• Assist Meat & Seafood Manager in department merchandising, inventory controls and staff supervision.
• Coordinate production, planning, and sales with the team to ensure freshness and quality.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing Meat & Seafood staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and sanitation guidelines.
