Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to lead the Meat & Seafood team in a fast-paced store environment. You will contribute to giving customers a high-quality experience with accurate product handling and excellent service.

The role includes assisting in ordering, training, and maintaining department standards, while upholding health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork and leadership within a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience, proven leadership experience, and 2-3 years of grocery retail experience in Meat department processes and procedures is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.
