Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager in California. You will oversee sales and operations of the Meat & Seafood Department, plan cutting lists, manage inventory and displays, and coach team members to deliver high-quality products and excellent customer service.

The role requires meat cutting experience, leadership, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Daily tasks include scheduling, performance reviews, and collaboration with store leadership to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant, including leadership experience.
• Able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously and up to 8 hours per shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise.
• Coach and evaluate team members; conduct bi-annual performance reviews and collaborations with HR.
• Attend in-store meetings and participate in recruiting, promotions, and transfers with the Store Manager.
• Lead a team to deliver top quality product and service; serve as Manager on Duty as needed.
