Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager responsible for the sales and operations of the Meat & Seafood Department. You will lead a team to deliver high-quality product and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes planning, coaching, scheduling, and collaboration with Store Manager to drive results while maintaining store standards and department profitability.

Qualifications

• 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant industry including leadership experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand long shifts and lift up to 90 lbs.
• Strong knowledge of meat cutting processes and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct receiving, storage, rotation of merchandise and displays.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct bi-annual performance reviews.
• Attend and participate in in-store meetings and recruit/hire with Store Manager.
• Set schedules and staffing levels to maximize productivity.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to the team.
