Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to lead the sales and operations of the Meat & Seafood Department. You will manage cutting, inventory, displays, and team development to deliver high-quality products and service.

The role requires leadership experience, strong coaching ability, and the capacity to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced retail environment. Join a team focused on customer health and fresh, quality meat & seafood.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with basic math knowledge and weights/measures.
• Minimum 2 years meat cutting experience in grocery or restaurant, including leadership.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 90 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise.
• Coach and develop team members through feedback and performance reviews.
• Attend and participate in in-store meetings and HR-led reviews.
• Recruit, hire and promote in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Lead scheduling to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
