Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to lead the department’s sales, inventory, and operations. The role involves coaching team members, controlling cutting lists, and ensuring top-quality product and customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will drive scheduling, training, and daily performance while collaborating with store leadership to achieve goals and maintain exceptional store standards in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years meat cutting experience with leadership in grocery or restaurant
• Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 90 lbs., and work a flexible schedule including nights
• Knowledge of margins, scheduling, and merchandising in a retail environment

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists; process meat to department goals and standards
• Ensure correct receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members; participate in performance reviews and promotions
• Lead staffing and scheduling to maximize productivity and customer service quality
• Serve as Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed; communicate standards and changes to team
