Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to support the Meat & Seafood Manager in leading one of our busiest departments. You will contribute to product quality, inventory management, and customer service while coaching team members to deliver the best experience for shoppers.

The role requires leadership experience, a customer‑focused mindset, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years professional experience with proven leadership experience.
• 2-3 years grocery retail experience in Meat department processes highly preferred.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
