Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Meat Manager to join our Meat & Seafood team. You will help lead a busy department, ensure product quality, and manage inventory while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced store.

The role requires leadership experience and 2+ years in grocery meat operations, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will work with a team to maintain freshness and safety, supporting a customer-focused shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience; proven leadership experience preferred.
• 2–3 years of grocery retail experience in Meat department processes and procedures is highly preferred.
• Must be dependable with a positive attitude and good customer interaction skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand long hours and lift heavy items in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
