BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a Meat Department Team Member in North Haven, CT. You will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, while assisting Members with questions and product recommendations.

Maintain cleanliness and food-safety standards in the meat department. We offer weekly and daily pay, free BJ’s memberships, generous PTO, health benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Formación

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Provides service by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery to meet quality standards.
• Rotates and stocks meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses with correct expiration dates.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation in the meat department.
• Supports club policies and collaborates with team members to ensure safety.
