Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking team members to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandize fresh and processed meats, while assisting Members with questions and recommendations. Maintain cleaning and safety standards in the meat department.

Team Members commit to a safe, respectful environment and support store policies. The role emphasizes teamwork, speed, accuracy, and a strong guest focus in a busy club setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Makes recommendations on food products when necessary.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds.
• Assists the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
