Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking team members for the Meat Department in a fast-paced retail environment. You will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats while assisting Members with product questions and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood. Makes recommendations on food products when necessary.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds.
• Assists the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood and inspects and stores meat upon delivery.
