BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a meat department position based in Derby, CT. You will receive, rotate, wrap and merchandise fresh and processed meats, assist Members with questions, and help ensure cleanliness and safety standards in the meat area. Join a team focused on member satisfaction and efficient service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, speed, and accuracy, with a strong emphasis on maintaining club standards and member experience in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Experience with both fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Experience in a meat/deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Mansioni

• Assist Members by answering questions about meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weigh, wrap, label, and package meat and seafood products.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the meat department and display cases.
• Ensure products are stocked and rotated by expiration date.
